PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a square secondary battery that has a current interruption mechanism and has high reliability.SOLUTION: A square secondary battery has a conductive member 18, a first insulation member 20 and a pressure-sensitive current interruption mechanism containing a reverse plate and a positive electrode collector. The conductive member 18 has a first outer surface and a second outer surface which are provided to confront each other, the first insulation member 20 has a pair of short-side side walls 20c and 20d, the short-side side wall 20c is located at the outside of the first outer surface, and presses the first outer surface to the second outer surface, and the short-side side wall 20d is located at the outside of the second outer surface, and presses the second outer surface to the first outer surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
