PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a criticality prevention system of a molten nuclear fuel, which may occur accompanying increase of water in submergence operation of a nuclear reactor container.SOLUTION: A criticality prevention system 10 of molten nuclear fuel includes: a first on-off valve 14 which is disposed in a water supply channel 13 for supplying water from a water source 12 for submerging a nuclear reactor container 11; a detection section 16 that detects re-critical or a sign of molten nuclear fuel 15 existing in the nuclear reactor container 11 during water supply operation; a second on-off valve 19 which is disposed in a recovery channel 18 for recovering a part of water supplied to the nuclear reactor container 11 to a drain tank 17 when the re-critical or a sign is detected; a third on-off valve 23 disposed in a supply channel 21 for supplying a mixture mixed with a neutron absorbent into the nuclear reactor container 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
