PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking machine capable of suitably adjusting the thickness of a sheet material in a width direction with respect to a time-varying factor.SOLUTION: A papermaking machine comprises a feed tank 3 for feeding raw material slurry 15, a paper-making belt 10 for making sheets from solid components in the slurry 15 fed from the feed tank 3 and transporting the same, and a paper-making amount adjusting device 50 for reducing in the width direction the amount of solid components for making sheets on the paper-making belt 10 according to the thickness in the substantially width direction of a sheet material formed by making sheets on the paper-making belt 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
