PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component, the Q-value of which can be adjusted by a system alternative to one of changing a resistance value, and to provide a method of manufacturing the coil.SOLUTION: A coil component 100 includes: a pair of terminals 110(111, 113); a body coil 130 formed of a first wire having ends conducting with different terminals 111 and 113, respectively, and wound around a predetermined central axis in at least a partial section between one end and the other end; and a short circuit coil 140 formed of a second wire, two points included in the second wire being short-circuited, and wound in at least a partial section between the two points, and arranged so that magnetic fluxes generated in the body coil 130 intersects unevenly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
