PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulation material, an external capsule for vacuum heat insulation material and a heat insulation item having the vacuum heat insulation material in which a high heat insulation performance is kept for a long period of time and a heat bridge is hardly produced.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a vacuum heat insulation material comprising a core material and an opposing external capsule arranged to cover the core material, and a circumferential edge of the opposing external capsule is sealed. The external capsule has a heat fusion layer 11, a gas barrier layer and a protection layer 13 that are laminated. At least one gas barrier layer of the opposing external capsule is made of laminated units of a plurality of gas barrier films 14A, 14B. The gas barrier film has base materials 17A 17B and thin film barrier layers 18A, 18B formed on one surface of the base material, and an adhering layer 15 and an intermediate layer 16 are arranged between the other thin film barrier layers adjacent to the gas barrier film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
