PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus enabling simpler positioning of a desired phantom.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes an imaging system, and a positioning information acquisition part. The imaging system images a phantom on which a marker is fitted. The positioning information acquisition part detects at least either of the positions of the marker or the length of a prescribed part of the phantom from two-dimensional X-ray image data where at least either of the marker or the phantom are represented, and obtains the distance between a target position of a bed where the phantom is set and a position of the bed at the time of collecting the X-ray image data on the basis of at least either of the position of the detected marker or the length of the prescribed part of the phantom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
