PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission which can be added with a parking lock device and a detent device without largely modifying a manual transmission, and can suppress a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission 2, a reverse idler shaft 26 is arranged in the vicinity of a first bulkhead 91 being a clearance between the first bulkhead 91 and a second bulkhead 92 of a transmission case 2A. A manual shaft 74 is arranged in parallel with an oscillation plane 79b in which a parking pole 79 oscillates in a space 100 which is sandwiched by a rear end part 26a of the reverse idler shaft 26 and the second bulkhead 92, and a manual plate 75 and a detent plate 80 are extended upwardly from the manual shaft 74. The transmission case 2A has a shaft support part 90 which protrudes to the inside of the transmission case 2A from an internal peripheral face of an external peripheral face 93 at a lower part of the space 100, and the shaft support part 90 supports an end part of the manual shaft 74.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
