A memory device comprises: a non-volatile memory circuit storing hard repair data; a data bus transmitting the hard repair data during boot-up operation, and transmitting soft repair data during soft repair operation; a plurality of registers storing repair data transmitted through the data bus and activated when the transmitted repair data is stored; a control circuit selecting a register to store the transmitted repair data among the registers, and during the soft repair operation, deactivating a register that stores the same data as the transmitted repair data; and a memory bank performing repair operation based on the data stored in a register that is activated among the registers. The purpose of the present invention is to prevent an error which may occur during a repair operation as hard repair data and soft repair data, which are identical to each other, are stored in a register by deactivating, when soft repair data matches hard repair data stored in the register through a boot-up operation, the register storing the hard repair data. |
