FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: claimed invention discloses an exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR). The latter comprises an EGR cooler, a bypass circuit and the valve, in the active state, to force EGR gases roundabout the EGR cooler and, in the inactive state, to the EGR system cooler. The proposed method consists in the following. With the valve in the inactive state, a message is generated about the drop in the EGR system efficiency in compliance with the EGR first model. The temperature of the latter is corrected subject to the time of the valve active state occurrence. With the valve in the active state, a message is generated about the drop in the EGR system efficiency in compliance with the EGR second model. This invention discloses the procedure of control over the exhaust gas recirculation system.EFFECT: ruled out false messages about the drop in the EGR system efficiency.10 cl, 4 dwg |
