Disclosed are an electronic information label for electronically displaying information and a display control method for the electronic information label. The electronic information label according to an embodiment comprises: a first display which includes front and back surfaces with polarizing filters attached on both surfaces, and displays information that is able to be seen with bare eyes on the front surface; a second display which includes front and back surfaces with a polarizing filter attached only on the back surface, and displays information that is unable to be seen with bare eyes on the front surface; a communication module communicating with a server or a gateway; a memory storing information received through the communication module; and a controller controlling operations of the first display and the second display.
