PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, in which the rotation error or the like of an ice chipper tray is not caused by preventing a food product from being accommodated within the rotation locus range in an ice chipper tray.SOLUTION: A refrigerator is constituted to comprise: an ice chipper tray unit 14 holding an ice chipper tray 16 rotatable on the axis of a cross direction; and a foreign matter contamination prevention body 24 protruding toward the side of the ice storage box 11 more than the rotation locus range of the ice chipper. As a result, in the case where the ice storage box containing food is set in the ice chipper box, the food containing in the ice storage box abuts against the foreign matter contamination prevention body, if its quantity reaches the rotation locus range of the ice chipper tray, so that the ice box storage box cannot be set. By this, the user confirms that the food in the ice storage box is excessively much so that the user extracts the food partially. As a result, it can be prevented in advance that the ice chipper tray cannot be rotated against the food in the ice storage box or is troubled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
