PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a crimp terminal that is excellent in dimensional precision.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a crimp terminal 10 that has a cylindrical crimp portion 20 at one end thereof and has a plate-like connection portion 30 at the other end thereof comprises a first step S20 for forming a cavity 51 having a bottom at one end 501 of a columnar member 50, a second step S30 for forming a groove 52 at a position nearer to the other end 502 side than the cavity 51 in the columnar member 50, and a third step S40 for rolling a portion nearer to the other end 502 side than the groove 52 in the columnar portion 50. The cavity 51 extends along the axial direction of the columnar member 50, and the groove 52 extends along a direction intersecting to the axial direction of the columnar member 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
