PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin lighting device having a simple and compact structure and achieving a wide light emitting area.SOLUTION: A lighting device of the invention includes: a metal casing 11 having a panel shape; and organic EL elements D which are disposed on the metal casing 11 through a first insulation sheet 13 or a second insulation sheet 14. The lighting device achieves high rigidity with a simple and compact structure as the organic EL elements D are overlapped with the metal casing 11. In the lighting device, electric insulation is maintained between the adjacent organic EL elements D through the metal casing 11 even when the multiple organic EL elements D are disposed on the metal casing 11 as the first insulation sheet 13 or the second insulation sheet 14 secures electric insulation between the organic EL elements D and the metal casing 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
