The invention relates to a switching device (52) for switching an energy supply for an electronic control unit (14) of a domestic appliance (10), having a first connection (22) for connection to a DC voltage source (24), having a second connection (26) for connection to an energy supply connection of the control unit (14), and having a switching transistor (18) which provides a switching path (16) between the first and the second connection (22, 26), wherein the switching path (16) can be switched by means of a third connection (20) of the switching transistor (18), wherein the switching device (52) is designed to switch on the switching path (16) by means of an electronic switching element (28) of the switching device (52), which electronic switching element acts on the third connection (20) of the switching transistor (18), and to switch off the switching path (16) by means of a switch-off signal (30) of the control unit (14), which switch-off signal acts on the third connection (20) of the switching transistor (18). According to the invention, the switching device (52) has a state unit (32) for providing a state signal (34) which represents a switching state of the switching path (16) and also has an integrator unit (36), wherein the state unit (32) is designed to provide the state signal (34) depending on operation of the electronic switching element (28) and the switch-off signal (30), and wherein the state unit (32) is connected to the third connection (20) by means of the integrator unit (36) in order to control the switching path (16) of the switching transistor (18) depending on the state signal (34). |
