The digital verification apparatus described herein consists of a device provided with buttons and a camera, which solves the problem of guaranteeing the delivery of a purchased product to the rightful addressee and guaranteeing the authenticity of the delivery receipt. The use of said apparatus requires the product recipient, upon delivery, to enter a password (previously supplied at the time of purchase and known only to the addressee). Inputting the correct password into the apparatus proves that the recipient is the lawful addressee of the product. Simultaneously, the apparatus is capable of photographing or filming the inputting of the password, generating an additional record of the delivery of the product. It is also possible to replace the inputting of the password by the reading of the recipient's fingerprint. By using the apparatus, the deliverer can no longer falsify delivery because he will be unaware of the password, and the client can no longer say that he has not received the product since there will be a record of the password, image and fingerprint. |
