An automobile seat is provided with: a seat cushion (3) disposed on a floor panel (14) and having a support member (7) which extends in the left-right direction at the rear end of the seat cushion (3); and a seat back (2) disposed at the rear end of the seat cushion and having a lower frame (9) which faces the support member. The support member has a first connection member and a striker (6). The lower frame has a second connection member which connects to the first connection member so that the connection is released when the seat back is folded forward. A lock member provided at the lower end of a child seat can engage with the striker.
