<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a contact tip for improving the consumability resistance by plating metal or an alloy all over the surface of the tip including the inside of a tip hole, because a problem that spatters are stuck to the tip surface in some plating specification is generated, there is a contact tip or the like, on which a material having higher fusing point than that of steel material is coated as the countermeasure for solving this problem, however a tungsten alloy is general as a material having this performance in hand and substantially expensive and, because the welding contact tip is consumable and expensive, when the frequency of replacement is high, the running cost at a welding producing site is greatly affected. <P>SOLUTION: In the welding contact tip on which an inserting hole into which a welding wire is inserted, the size of the inserting hole in the nose of the contact tip is larger than the size of the inserting hole in the intermediate portion, the improvement in spatter adhesion resistance and the improvement in consumability resistance are achieved by imparting a covering layer without containing P (phosphorus) as the outermost layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
