PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high-purity lithium sulfide by using hydrogen sulfide comprising inert gas and a gas other than the hydrogen sulfide, obtained in the process of hydrofining oil.SOLUTION: A method for producing lithium sulfide comprises the gas-solid reaction of lithium carbonate and hydrogen sulfide. The hydrogen sulfide comprises inert gas and a gas other than the hydrogen sulfide, where the partial pressure of inert gas and a gas other than the hydrogen sulfide is 0.2-20% of the total pressure, and the reaction temperature is 450-725°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
