The supplying device (1) is provided with a sorting device (2), an elevator (5) and an inspection device (4), where the inspection device is arranged in front of the elevator. The inspection device is disposed between the sorting device and the elevator. The inspection device is arranged in front of the sorting device. A separating device (3) is arranged before the inspection device for separation of the container closures. The elevator is a chain conveyor, particularly a spiral chain conveyor.
