A light bar 1 to be located on the roof of a vehicle (2, fig.1). The light bar comprises a plurality of vortex generators 3 located on the surface closest to the roof of the vehicle once the light bar is fitted. Inclusion of vortex generating vanes on the underside of the light bar improves aerodynamic characteristics of the light bar assembly by controlling generation of unwanted turbulence. |
