PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal position management system and method capable of using the same mobility management parameters continuously, even if a mobility management controller housing a mobile communication terminal changes.SOLUTION: When the mobility management parameters containing the position registration update interval of a wireless terminal 11 to be housed have been registered in a mobility management parameters management server 22, a mobility management controller 14 performs position management processing by acquiring the mobility management parameters, and acquires position management optimization parameters from a position management optimization parameters storage unit 21, optimizes the mobility management parameters of the wireless terminal 11 to be housed, based on the position management optimization parameters thus acquired, and then registers the optimized mobility management parameters in the mobility management parameters management server 22. Consequently, the position registration update interval is changed depending on the travel of the wireless terminal 11. |
