The method involves combining multiple printing sheets (10) to a book block (3-1 to 3-n) and compressing multiple book blocks with same orientation on the lower edges (7) of the printing sheet to a rod (13). A book block is offset parallel to the lower edges of the printing sheets and transverse to a height of the rod such that a side edge (17-1 to 17-n) of the book block protrudes opposite to a side edge of an adjacent book block. An independent claim is included for a rod with an information carrier. |
