Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a controlling method thereof. The mobile terminal and the controlling method thereof is able to collect and store an execution information of at least one application of a first period; determine a system operation mode of a second period using the stored execution information; is able to set the determined system operation mode as the system operation mode of the second period; and is able to control an operational speed of at least one sub module in accordance with the determined system operation mode. According to the present invention, the operation mode of a terminal is able to dynamically be changed in accordance with the application usage pattern of a user. |
