<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus that drops a functional film on an appropriate position of the bottom of a cell culture container and the cell culture container for arranging a functional film on the bottom of the cell culture container using the transfer apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer apparatus sucks under negative pressure a functional film 10 on an appropriate position of a suction surface and drops the functional film 10 on the appropriate position of the bottom of the cell culture container when the functional film 10 supported by a release film 14 is released from the release film 14 and sucked under negative pressure on the suction surface of a negative pressure suction head equipped with negative pressure suction holes.
