Provided is a lamp (10) that is a straight tubular lamp having a cylindrically-shaped lamp housing and that comprises: an LED module (50) that is provided inside of the lamp housing and that comprises an LED (53) and a mounting substrate (52) having the LED (53) on the surface thereof; a translucent cover (20) that constitutes one portion of the lamp housing and that covers the surface of the mounting substrate (52); and a base (30) that constitutes another portion of the lamp housing and has the LED module (50) on the surface thereof. The translucent cover (20) is a notched cylindrical member comprising a main opening (21) that is notched along the lengthwise direction of one portion of a long cylinder. The base (30) holds the translucent cover (20) so as to block the main opening (21). The LED (53) is positioned between the center of the translucent cover (20) and the main opening (21) when viewed from the lengthwise direction of the translucent cover (20). |
