<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush toilet bowl for enabling a toilet bowl to be washed with a smaller amount of washing water by generating siphonage while suppressing the water level rise of stored water in a toilet bowl part, and for preventing water splash to the outside of the toilet bowl by causing the collision of the washing water in the toilet bowl part. <P>SOLUTION: The flush toilet bowl includes a bowl part 2 of a toilet bowl body, a rim water discharge port 3 for discharging washing water to the bowl part 2, and a drain pipeline 9 having a rising pipeline 5 rising backward from the lower end opening of the bowl part 2, a lowering pipeline 6 lowering from the rising pipeline 5, and a weir part 8 for specifying the water level position of stored water stored in the bowl part 2. A shelf part 11 is formed on the inner periphery of the lowering pipeline 6 continuously from the upper face of the weir part 8.
