The present invention relates to a medical instrument for holding a wire pin, and more specifically, to a medical instrument used to hold a long metallic wire pin which connects broken bones to each other during a procedure for inserting the wire pin. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the medical instrument for holding the wire pin comprises: a body having a first penetrating hole; a cylinder mounted on the first penetrating hole of the body; a lever allowing the cylinder to be moved with respect to the body; a middle case with a third penetrating hole, mounted on a second penetrating hole of the cylinder and moved to be interlocked with the cylinder; an insertion case having a front end part which touches the inner wall of the third penetrating hole of the middle case, and having a fifth penetrating hole which penetrates in the longitudinal direction; and an elastic member elastically supporting the cylinder with respect to the inner wall of the first penetrating hole of the body. The cylinder and the middle case are moved forwards as the lever rotates in one direction, and one end of the insertion case retracts and holds the wire pin. The cylinder and the middle case are moved backwards as the lever rotates in the opposite direction, and one end of the insertion case returns to the original state and the holding of the wire pin is released. |
