The present invention relates to a lip motion-based sign language translation device which has displays, formed to be inclined on a front side unit and a rear side unit, and a lip motion device, arranged on a lower portion of the front side unit, and detects and translates a user′s motion of a sign language, and displays the result of translation to enable a person who uses the sign language and a counterpart to see the result of the translation. The lip motion-based sign language translation device comprises: a main body formed to have the front side unit and the rear side unit which form acute angles with respect to the bottom surface; two displays which are separately installed on the front side unit and the rear side unit of the main body; the lip motion device which is installed on the lower portion of the front side unit of the main body, is perpendicular to the front side unit, and detects a motion of the sign language in the front side; and a control unit which translates the motion of the sign language detected by the lip motion device and displays the result of the translation on the two displays. The lip motion-based sign language translation device enables not only the counterpart but also the person who uses the sign language to see the result of the translation and to check whether the translation has been performed correctly. In addition, the lip motion-based sign language translation device enables the person who uses the sign language to input a command by the motion of the sign language and thus can provide a more convenient interface. |
