SEARCH SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING EXPANSION SEARCH INFORMATION

The present invention provides a search system which can provide search result according with a search intention when a user selects an expansion information, which may comprise: a search keyword completion part, which receives search keyword input from a user′s terminal and determines an automatically completed list that corresponds to up-to-now inputted search keywords; a search keyword matching part, which determines whether one or more expansion information, that matches to each of the automatically completed search keywords included in the automatically completed list, exists in database; an expansion information display part, which displays one or more of the expansion information; a search keyword determining part, which receives a selection signal that selects one from one or more of the expansion information and determines expansion search keyword based on the automatically completed search keyword and the selected expansion information; and a search result adjusting part, which arranges and displays the combined search results, that correspond to the expansion search keyword determined by the search keyword determining part, based on vertical services, in which each of the combined search results is included. The search result adjusting part compares the correlation between each of the vertical services and the search keyword, and determines the order of each of the vertical services, in order of the correlation with the search keyword from highest to lowest, and displays each of the combined search results.
