The present invention is to provide a respirator which can solve a problem that an amount of inhaled air is greater than an amount of exhaled air and a problem that oxygen concentration of inhaled oxygen is insufficient or excessive. The present invention provides the respirator capable of generating oxygen including: a gas tank which stores inhalable mixed gas; a face cover formed to cover a face of a user; an oxygen generation unit which is installed on the face cover, has an exhalation check valve which is open during only user′s exhalation, and has an oxygen generation agent which passes the air having passed through the exhalation check valve and generates oxygen at the same time; and a chamber which is installed on the face cover, receives air from the oxygen generation agent, has an inhalation check valve which is open during only user′s inhalation, and receives the mixed gas from the gas tank if an amount of air, discharged from the exhalation check valve, is greater than an amount of air received from the oxygen generation agent. |
