The present invention relates to a borate glass ceramics which comprises boric oxide (B_2O_3), barium oxide (BaO), and titanium dioxide (TiO_2). More particularly, in the present invention, B_2O_3 and BaO form a glass matrix, and TiO_2 is precipitated in form of quantum dots and is dispersed inside the glass matrix and on the surface. Therefore, the borate glass ceramics exhibits photocatalytic properties and effects of blocking ultraviolet rays. |
