PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operational feeling and texture of a plastic garbage box having a cover plate opened/closed by a pedal.SOLUTION: In a plastic garbage box, an opening of a garbage box body 1 is provided with a cover plate 10 that is opened/closed like a flap by a pivoting part. The plastic garbage box has the cover plate pushed up by an abutting motion of an ascending/descending member 7 lifted/lowered by upward/downward movement of a rotary rod 2 provided below the garbage box.
