According to one embodiment of the present invention, a propulsion system comprises: an operating propeller unit provided to be rotated to a hull and operated by receiving power; a rudder unit provided to a rear side of the operating propeller unit; and a pair of rudder propeller units provided to the rudder unit and provided to a front side and a rear side of the rudder unit to be freely rotated. According to the present invention, the propulsion system comprises: a turbine wheel generating torque from an axial acceleration flow and rotational energy of a slipstream of the operating propeller unit while the turbine wheel is freely rotated; and an impeller wheel generating a thrust through the torque generated in the turbine wheel. Therefore, the present invention can improve propulsion efficiency without a change in a shaft of a propeller of a ship. |
