PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder which can properly select a sheet feeding unit.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder comprises a plurality of sheet feeding units and a selection control unit. A plurality of selection periods S1, S2 include a specific selection period S2 in which at least two selection signals sel0, sel1 of the plurality of selection signals sel0, sel1 are not at a steady level. A non-selection period includes a first steady period D2, a second steady period D5, a non-selection anterior period D3 and a non-selection posterior period D4. The non-selection anterior period D3 is a period in which the specific selection signal sel1 of the at least two selection signals sel0, sel1 is changed from the steady level to a selection level between the first steady period D2 and the specific selection period S2. The non-selection posterior period D4 is a period in which the specific selection signal sel1 is changed from the selection level to the steady level between the specific selection period S2 and the second steady period D5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
