PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment device for toner reducing inner-device fusion with coarse particles and also suppressing charge heat quantity, and to provide a method for producing toner.SOLUTION: Provided is a heat treatment device for powder particles comprising: a cylindrical outer wall 1; a treatment chamber 3 with a coaxial double cylindrical shape of performing heat treatment for the powder particles formed of a columnar regulation member 2 arranged coaxially with the central axis of the outer wall so as to regulate the volume of the inside of the outer wall; wall face cooling means of cooling the inner face of the cylindrical outer wall 3 of the treatment chamber 3 and the outer face of the columnar regulation member 2; powder feeding means 5 for feeding the powder particles to the treatment chamber 3; hot air feeding means 4 for heat-treating the powder particles; cold air feeding means 6, 7, 8 of feeding cold air into the treatment chamber 3; and exhaust means 9 of exhausting the heat-treated powder particles to the outside of the treatment chamber 3, in which the hot air feeding means 4 has a rotation member 10 for spirally rotating the hot air in the treatment chamber 3, and the columnar regulation member 2 regulates 55% or more of the inside volume of the columnar outer wall 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
