PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburization treatment method of a steel material capable of toughening simply and quickly the surface of the steel material.SOLUTION: In a carburization treatment method of a steel material, a tooth material is subjected to a carburization treatment by bringing carburizing gas into contact with a tooth flank of a gear W heated in a carburization furnace 11. In the carburization treatment method, while rotating the gear W which is a steel material by a revolution number control part 25, the tooth flank of the gear W is pressurized successively by pressurizing gears 22A, 22B so that dislocation is imparted to the tooth flank of the gear W and to its surface layer, and simultaneously carburizing gas g is brought into contact with the tooth flank to which dislocation is imparted, to thereby subject the gear W to the carburization treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
