PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun roof device that can suppress rattling of a movable panel in a vehicle front-back direction.SOLUTION: A sun roof device comprises: a guide block 60 formed with an engaging groove and installed on a guide rail 13; a slide check 41 integrated with a movable panel and movable along the guide rail 13; and a rotation check 46 having an engaging projection engageable into the engaging groove to be connected to the slide check 41, and, in a fully closed state of the movable panel where the engaging projection is engaged into the engaging groove, restricting movement of the slide check 41 when a drive shoe 21 moves to the vehicle front side, and releasing the movement restriction of the slide check 41 by disengaging of the engaging projection from the engaging groove when the drive shoe 21 further moves to the vehicle front side and then moves to the vehicle rear side. Facing surfaces of the guide block 60 and slide check 41 in the vehicle width direction are respectively formed with a pressure welded surface 61a and a pressure welding surface 44a that are pressure welded in the movement restricted state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
