A virtual machine migration method and device related to the technical field of computers. The method comprises: acquiring a first mapping relationship, which is pre-stored in a source cloud platform, between a source VM and a specified user when data in the source VM is migrated into a destination VM (201); configuring the destination VM and the specified user to form a second mapping relationship according to the acquired first mapping relationship between the source VM and the specified user (202); and storing the second mapping relationship in a destination cloud platform (203). In the solution, the destination VM and the specified user are configured to form the second mapping relationship, so that a virtual desktop user can log in a virtual desktop corresponding to the destination VM by virtue of a username set on the source VM without re-registering a new username, simplicity in operation is ensured, and the experience of the virtual desktop user is improved. |
