PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-capacity positive electrode active material superior in cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material comprises: secondary particles composed of agglomerates of primary particles. The primary particles each have a core particle including a lithium complex oxide, and a layer provided on the surface of the core particle, and including a lithium complex oxide. The lithium complex oxide included in the core particle is identical or substantially identical to the lithium complex oxide included in the layer in composition. The lithium complex oxide included in the layer is lower, in crystallinity, than the lithium complex oxide included in the core particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
