The constitution is such that an abacus-like operating screen is output on a touch panel for a computer and calculation exercises similar to those of an abacus can be carried out by changing the state of beads on the basis of calculation rules for abacus calculations if the beads are selected by an operator. Display of changes in the state of the beads can be hidden in the calculation process, and the computer is operated so as to display the state of beads after changes at a stage where a calculation completion operation has been received. In addition, display of not only the changes in positions of the beads but also numbers forming answers at various stages in the calculation process is preferably hidden. |
