PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish change processing in a "change-involved transaction" easily in a POS system in which a registration device and a plurality of adjustment devices are arranged at separate positions.SOLUTION: A POS system has a registration device for registering a commodity to be purchased by a customer, and a plurality of adjustment devices for adjusting an account on the basis of transaction information about the commodity registered by the registration device. The POS system further comprises input means for accepting input of the amount of money, calculation means for calculating a difference between the inputted amount of money and the amount of transaction that is a total amount of registered commodities, selection means for selecting an adjustment device that is the transmission destination of difference information indicating the difference calculated by the calculation means, and transmission means for transmitting the difference information to the selected adjustment device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
