PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which can be arranged in a compact form by a simple structure, and in which a pressure can be applied to electrochemical cells uniformly.SOLUTION: A hybrid capacitor 1 comprises: electrochemical cells 2 each including a positive electrode 7, a negative electrode 8 opposed to the positive electrode 7, and a cell 10 in which the positive electrode 7 and the negative electrode 8 are enclosed, and an electrolytic solution 11 is sealed, provided that the electrochemical cells 2 are arrayed in parallel with one another along an opposing direction of the positive electrode 7 and the negative electrode 8; a pair of plates 3 disposed on both sides of the electrochemical cells 2 in the opposing direction; and a generally belt-shaped fastening tool 5 for fastening the electrochemical cells 2 and the pair of plates 3 to apply a pressure to them along the opposing direction. The pair of plates 3 each have an opposing surface facing the electrochemical cells 2; an end portion of the opposing surface is curved outwardly in the opposing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
