Disclosed are a Chinese character recognition method and device, and a terminal. The method comprises: according to a received structure sequence, searching for, by an input method system, Chinese characters matching the structure sequence from a saved Chinese character library and displaying same, wherein a corresponding relationship between the Chinese characters and the structure sequence and Pinyin of the Chinese characters is stored in the Chinese character library; according to a received Chinese character selected from the displayed Chinese characters, searching for the Pinyin of the selected Chinese character in the Chinese character library; and displaying the Pinyin of the Chinese character. By means of the solution provided in the present invention, compared with the prior art, the Chinese character recognition process is simplified, and the recognition speed is increased. |
