PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin signal transmission component capable of being easily connected to an external circuit board and easily enhancing connection reliability.SOLUTION: A signal transmission cable 10C which is a signal transmission component includes a laminate body 100C. The laminate body 100C includes a thin portion 191C at one end in a first direction and a thin portion 192C at the other end in the first direction. The thin portions 191C and 192C in the laminate body 100C form a main line portion 190C therebetween. The thin portions 191C and 192C are thinner than the main line portion 190C. The main line portion 190C and the thin portions 191C and 192C configure the laminate body 100C having a surface at one end in a thickness direction, the surface forming a continuous flat surface. On a surface of the thin portions 191C and 192C at a side where the thin portions 191C and 192C and the mail principal portion 190C have a step therebetween, connectors 71C and 72C for external connection extending in the thickness direction are mounted.
