PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power plant central control room which is configured to prevent downlights from being reflected on monitors, and which does not induce visibility deterioration and visual fatigue.SOLUTION: A central control room of an atomic power plant has a predetermined illumination space with a plurality of monitors 2 for monitoring and operating a power generating plant, and a plurality of downlights 3 that provide downward spot illumination and are disposed on a ceiling 4.
