摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow quite low power consumption to perform a display formed by combining a still image display and a rewriting display in a single display panel, and to allow a common voltage to control display of an individual pixel in an active matrix type display device.SOLUTION: A dot matrix type display device comprises: a gate signal line drive circuit 3 that turns on one piece of a plurality of gate signal lines GL1 to GL128 by arbitrarily selecting one piece thereof; and a pixel selection signal line drive circuit 4 that turns on one piece of a plurality of pixel selection signal lines SL1 to SL128 by arbitrarily selecting one piece thereof. An input line of a re-writing drive is connected to a common voltage line 2, and thus, a drive selection circuit of a pixel electrode part is configured to re-write a selected pixel electrode part by high/low of the common voltage, and implement a still image drive of a non-selected pixel electrode part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
