An outboard motor collision preventing system is disclosed. The outboard motor collision preventing system comprises: a boat main body; and an outboard motor coupled to the board main body. The outboard motor comprises: an outboard motor main body; a power source coupled to the outboard motor main body; a propeller rotated by receiving the power from the power source; an underwater obstacle sensor coupled to the outboard motor or the boat main body; and a control unit analyzing a signal of the underwater obstacle sensor to stop rotation of the propeller when an obstacle capable of colliding with the outboard motor is discovered in the driving direction of the boat main body.
