A portable ultrasound imaging apparatus is provided, being compact and operable in hand-held mode, and high in operability. This portable ultrasound imaging apparatus is provided with a main body that incorporates an electronic component constituting an ultrasound imager, the main body being provided with a screen on a surface, and an operation panel electrically connected to the ultrasound imager, the main body is provided with a concave part to place the operation panel therein on the surface where the screen is formed, and a support mechanism configured to support the operation panel. The support mechanism supports the operation panel in such a manner as slidable in a direction parallel to the screen, allowing an angle of the operation panel relative to the screen to be variable. |
