PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel control method that improves responsiveness of a driving source of each part and that can achieve energy saving.SOLUTION: In a shovel control method, a shovel, which includes a traveling section A, a slewing section B and a work section C having a telescopic operation mechanism and which supplies electric power to a motor-generator 6 for slewing so that a slewing motion can be performed by using electric power generated in the generator by running of an engine provided in the slewing section B, is controlled. Calculation is performed by a processing program on the basis of an operation command and a detection value of a slewing angle detection sensor, and the motor-generator 6 for slewing is controlled on the basis of the result of the calculation. |
