<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine advantageous for, when switching a position of a feeding gear between at a feeding gear descent position and at a feeding gear rise position, using in common an existing actuator for a feed regulator to allow a feeding gear descent mechanism to be manufactured at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A sewing machine comprises a feeding mechanism 21. The feeding mechanism 21 includes: a feeding mechanism 21 for allowing a feeding gear 22 to execute a transporting movement; a feeding adjuster 13 for changing a feeding amount of the feeding gear 22; an actuator 30 for changing the feeding amount of the feeding adjuster 13; a needle 41 for switching a position of the feeding gear 22 between a feeding gear rise position allowing the feeding gear 22 to projected from an upper surface of a needle plate and a feeding gear descent position allowing the feeding gear 22 to be descended below the upper surface of the needle plate; and a descent and rise switching mechanism 40 for switching between a feeding gear descent mode allowing the actuator 30 to switch a position of the needle 41 to the feeding gear descent position and a feeding gear rise mode allowing the actuator 30 to switch the position of the needle 41 to the feeding gear rise position to allow the transporting movement of the feeding gear 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
